Last week I choose to try the Atulfo mango grown in Mexico. This specific type is also known as the champagne mango for is superior taste. I read up a little on how to choose a good mango and all you basically need to know is that is should be slightly soft and smell "fresh" (whatever that means) before eating. The seed was much smaller in this variety and it was delicious!
So I have definitely eaten artichokes before, but I had never cooked one my self. The website above had a lot of different ideas on how to cook them. I ended up baking mine, I added olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and garlic to it...mmmm it was delicious!
