A rainy day in side with my babies! {and momma}

One of the things I miss most about not living in Madison is these cute faces!

Little miss Trinity is 15mo old and running around everywhere!

Her big sister Adreanna is 4, she is so loving and very helpful.

My mom is the master at entertaining kids! So what do you do on a rainy cold day? "Sorry" and indoor bowling!

Mr. Isaiah is almost 7 and is growing like a weed!

I also miss hanging with my momma!

My Madison Bridal Shower

I flew home last week to Madison to get some wedding planning done with my momma and attend the shower she threw me. It was so good to see everyone and spend a Sunday afternoon catching up! I got so many great gifts! Thank you everyone who made the trek down to spend the day with me.

My good friend Elizabeth who will be singing and playing in the wedding.

My friend Rachel who is a mama to triplets!

My friend Michelle from nursing school and her little girl Kennedy

My cousin Jaime who is getting married the weekend before me!

Juanita, one of my other mama's from Eau Claire.

Juanita's daughter Krysta, one of my best friends from high school, and her son Zander.

A little catch up....

The last week and a half have been packed with all kinds of fun things, I will quick fill you in!

My Bible study volunteered at Art for the Nations

This is an organization run by a husband and wife who had a brilliant idea to create bags of art supplies and projects that can share the Gospel with young under privileged kids all over the world.

So each of our group members painted a bag and then stuffed it with art projects, supplies, and Gods love, it was a really fun night and I can't wait to do it again!

My friend Chelsea from nursing school came out to hang for the week!

She learned to snowboard...and even attempted this black diamond! We had a girls day and got facials and body scrubs, did some bridesmaids dress shopping and just hung out. She left Saturday and I miss her already!

Chelsea and I have a friend from nursing school (Amy N.) who just started her first travel nurse assignment and she was placed right here in Denver, CO!! So we spent 2 days skiing/snowboarding with her and D.

We enjoyed good quality hang time, and enjoyed some great music at the Laughing Goat!

Saturday I continued on in the journey of dress making, it was a little tougher this week, let me tell you making boobs look good in a dress is tough! No body wants pointy miss-shaped craziness going on....so lets just say I used the seam ripper a few times!

My teacher Nora on the left and a few of my class mates.

Pattern and pieces cut front and back top coming together...more to show in 2 weeks!

the beginnings of a wedding dress!

The idea that I have on paper made its way to fabric today! In my first class I learned so much! Draping, pattern cutting, pinning and so much more. This is going to be so much fun, and my teacher Nora is so nice.

First we padded this form so that it was the same size as me then we started draping to make my pattern.
The shop is super cute and its really fun to be hanging out with a bunch of creative ladies (there were 4 other women in my class tonight). One of the girls is 18 and she is making a killer prom dress that she is entering in a JoAnn fabrics contest where she can win $50,000.00

Class one of 3 complete! Now I'm off to do my homework!

Boredom setting in...

I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to get bored of the same old hair style month after month. I have been trying to avoid highlights because they require too much up keep. I am loving the hair feathers, but I decided I just needed a bigger change. So I took the plunge and chopped off some bangs! Its weird seeing myself in the mirror, it kinda feels like I'm wearing a wig. I think I like it...for now it will satisfy my desire for change!

Visiting Luna...

I just got back today from my little vacation to Spokane, WA. The trip was full of wedding planning and baby cuddling!
Me holding Luna for the first time.
She is such a smiley girl!
You better believe we did some thrift shopping! This little vest was one of the cutest things we found, Luna seemed to love it.
I had to make sure I didn't buy too much, I only had a carry on to get everything back to Denver in! I found this cute collapsible vintage cookbook holder that I couldn't pass up.
Luna and I did a lot of Wedding blog surfing to get some ideas for the big day this May.
The Lux fam and I enjoyed breakfast Sunday at this adorable shabby chic restaurant called Chaps.
We did a little wedding dress shopping just for fun. I am planning on making my own dress but I had to try on a few dresses just for the experience. I only have 2 pictures because Becca got scolded for taking pictures...apparently its not allowed.
I spent my last night in Spokane snuggled up to this little doll face in her Moby wrap...life doesn't get much better than that!
